We are parents, veterans, entrepreneurs, teachers, and everyday Americans who believe Congress should be a place of public service — not personal ambition. We’re united by a shared purpose: to return power to the people and fix what Washington will never fix on its own.

Term Limits... Why?
Why do we need Term Limits...
To establish Term Limits for Congress, the following steps would be needed:
Constitutional Amendment: To impose term limits on members of Congress, a constitutional amendment would be required. This is because the U.S. Constitution does not currently limit how many terms members of Congress can serve.
The process for a constitutional amendment involves either:
1: Congress passing an amendment with a two-thirds majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
2: A convention of states called for by two-thirds of state legislatures (34 states), which would then propose the amendment.
After either method, the proposed amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the state legislatures (38 states) or through ratifying conventions.
State-Level Initiatives: In some states, lawmakers have passed term limits for state legislators. While these don't affect federal lawmakers, they show the level of public support for term limits in some areas.
Federal efforts to impose term limits have been introduced in Congress over the years, but none have passed at the federal level, even though public polling has shown support for such limits.

How We’ll Get Term Limits Passed
1. Educate the People
Most Americans don’t realize it — but you have the power to change the Constitution.
We’re going to teach Americans how the Constitution gives us, the people, the ability to fix what Congress won’t.
Through social media, videos, town halls, and community outreach, we’ll show everyone that term limits can happen — if we take action together.
2. Activate the States
Congress won’t limit itself. But the Constitution gives the states the power to do what Congress won’t.
When 34 state legislatures pass a simple resolution, they can force a Constitutional Convention — without needing Congress’s approval.
We’re building a nationwide movement to help citizens in each state demand that their legislators make the call.
3. Approve the Amendment
At the convention, delegates from each state will come together to propose a term limits amendment.
Once passed, the amendment goes to all 50 states.
And when 38 states ratify it, term limits become the law of the land — and Congress will never be the same.
This isn’t politics. This is power.
It’s written in the Constitution.
It starts with you.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment for…
Congressional Term Limits and Standards Section
1. Term Limits for Members of Congress
House of Representatives: No person shall be elected to the House of Representatives more than once, and no person who has held the office of Representative, or acted as such for more than two years of a term to which another was elected, shall be elected to the House.
A term for a Representative shall be five (5) years.
Senate: No person shall be elected to the Senate more than once, and no person who has held the office of Senator, or acted as such for more than four years of a term to which another was elected, shall be elected to the Senate.
A term for a Senator shall be eight (8) years.
Elections for the House of Representatives shall occur every two (2) years, with twenty-five percent (25%) of the total membership up for election in each cycle.
Elections for the Senate shall occur every two (2) years, with twenty-five percent (25%) of the total membership up for election in each cycle.
This Section shall apply to both current and future members of Congress, with sitting members completing their current terms and thereafter being subject to these limits.
